At Fleet Alignment Service, we specialize in suspension repair. Whether it's front spring eye bushings and pins or rear-drive springs and airbags, we have the experience and ability to get the job done correctly, efficiently, and at a fair price.
All jobs include an alignment on the area of the truck being repaired.
Suspension allows the tires and axles of your truck to move independently. This provides softer impacts from road debris and damage. Suspension also levels out your truck so you aren't rocking or dipping when towing or driving over rough terrain. Issues below are signs that your vehicle needs work.
• Bounces too much after hitting a bump
• Clunky noise when hitting bumps
• Squats back and forth
• Dips when breaking
• Drifts off to one side
• One side sits lower than the other
• Irregular tire wear
Leaf springs use long arched pieces of steel that flex when needed. These layer on top of each other like "leaves." More leaf springs can be added to support more weight.
Air springs use pressurized air, which raises the chassis from the axle by pressure.
When you have a heavy trailer on a hitch, your truck likely will no longer be level. This is called squatting. As a certified air lift installer, we can provide Air Bag installation to keep your truck level and driving smooth.
Squats: Meaning the front side of your truck lifts up due to the weight of the trailer.
Sways: your vehicle may be off balance and become very difficult to keep straight.
Bounces: If your vehicle is a bumpier ride, likely you will need the additional suspension.
U-Bolts are used to hold Leaf Spring Axles in place, tying your suspension together. Without U-Bolts, your truck's suspension can't exist. If you are in need of a U-Bolt replacement, we can bend any style U-Bolt you may need. We also stock everything from 7/16" to 1" rods, grade 8.
